Volunteers

NUMAS Haus is always looking for volunteers who care about helping women and children build new lives. From transportation, teaching moms important life skills to simply offering a listening ear… you can make a difference at NUMAS Haus.

You must be at least 18 years old, and willing to undergo a background check. Complete the Application Form and Shelter Coordinator Karla Diehn will be in touch with you to arrange training. Call her at 507-359-2202 to learn more. Thanks for helping us eliminate homelessness in Brown County!

In-House Volunteer

There are a wide variety of opportunities to help support our families and shelter for an in-house volunteer. Some basic duties can include:

Transportation Only Volunteer (As Needed)

Assist with rides to and from work, appointments, grocery store, job interviews, etc. when needed.

Maintenance Volunteer (As Needed)

Assist with maintenance projects inside or outside of the house when needed.
